"Gerardo Herrero searches for the last paradise in the Peruvian Amazon"

Excerpt: The role of Julia, the lover of the consul, is played by Spaniard Paulina Gálvez, born in Chile and raised in Spain, where until now she's made her professional career, with the exception of one movie that was filmed in her country of birth some two years ago, I Dreamed of You, directed by Gonzalo Justiniano. She knew nothing of Iquitos, much less Peru, but she had read the novel by Franz. "I saw it as a film and I wanted to be in it."

When she learned that there was a project in progress she volunteered for the production by Gerardo Herrero, Tornasol Films. "First they told me that it was going to be a girl from here, but then they remembered that I was born in Chile, and since the role needed to be a Latin woman, a few months before the filming they decided to test me and hired me."
