"Drimtim aims to win U.S. auds"
Excerpt: MADRID -- New Spanish producer Drimtim Entertainment aims to beat Stateside companies at their own game -- creating competitively priced English-lingo TV movies for the U.S. market.
Drimtim is the banner of TV distributor Manuel Corbi and its first pic, "Face of Terror," will be presented at this week's American Film Market (Feb. 19-26) by American Cinema Intl.
...It toplines two name actors, Rick Schroder from "NYPD Blue," and Eric Balfour, hot off "Six Feet Under." The Spanish production contributes exotica -- a flamenco guitar score and cut-aways of a stylish Barcelona -- and erotica in the form of Nick's sultry femme cop partner Ana, played by Paulina Gálvez.
