About the Editor

Carmen Carter first became involved in TV fandom back when Star Trek was still being broadcast on NBC. Since those early days she has contributed many fanfic stories to fanzines for Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation, and even edited her own fanzine, The Picard Maneuver.

In addition to these amateur efforts, she has written and published four Star Trek novels for Pocket Books and conducted over a dozen writers workshops on the East Coast.

Currently, she is indulging her enjoyment of The Queen of Swords by editing fanfic stories on Swordplay, a website of her own design and creation. When not dabbling in fandom, she works at a web development firm in Virginia.
